S-TEKT Safety and Quality System

To all customers and partner companies

We explain the overall structure of our system that prioritizes safety and quality.

Notices and Procedures

Please refer to the following for specific safety and quality standards and notices.

About the Safety and Quality System

S-TEKT is clearly shifting to a system that prioritizes safety and quality. We are building a structure where management, executives, and the field share responsibility and act as one, with the strengthening of organizational structure as the top priority as the foundation of our technical capability.

Our management declaration, commitment, and execution are summarized in the Safety and Quality Declaration 2026.

Safety and Quality Declaration 2026 (English)

Craft capability is structure

Advanced skills exist only on a solid foundation. We support capability with a four-layer structure that places the foundation (safety, quality, verification, responsibility) at the base.

Four-layer pyramid: wide base in navy, stable structure with gradient to upper layers
Figure 1: Pyramid structure (base = navy / middle and upper = gradient)

Without a strong foundation, it falls

A wide foundation is stable; a narrow foundation causes the upper layers to tilt and trust cannot be built. We prioritize strengthening the foundation.

Left: stable. Right: narrow base, tilting and collapsing
Figure 2: Comparison (left: stable / right: weak foundation collapses)

Role of managers

The top priority of managers is to prevent accidents and defects before they occur. They are not merely those who complete work, but those responsible for safety and quality, and they carry out pre-work checks, KY, protection, final checks, and process correction without compromise.

Role of management responsibility

Management is responsible for "creating an environment where the field can make accurate decisions". Through centralized management of drawings and documents, advance sharing of risks, advance verification of process validity, and mechanisms to prevent insufficient preparation, the entire organization supports the foundation.

Safety continues to improve through six-monthly reviews and the use of notices and KY. See the pages below for details.
